Wingcopter has received a strategic investment from Expa, a worldwide network of startup entrepreneurs managed by Uber co-founder Garret Camp.
With more money going into drone delivery, companies like Wingcopter in Germany are creating and operating drone delivery infrastructure as a service in addition to developing and manufacturing autonomous delivery drones. According to a press release, “the sky is Wingcopter’s highway,” and that’s exactly what it is.
Wingcopter, a drone delivery company, is a “category champion” backed by Expa. eVTOL is made possible by the unique tilt-rotor technology of Wingcopter, while efficient forward flight over long distances is made possible by the fixed-wing design of the craft. Company collaborations have allowed them to distribute products all across the world, and Camp believes that Wingcopter will have a significant impact on global logistics.
