High Lander and Starling sign MoU for BVLOS operations

by Editor

High Lander, a specialist in unmanned traffic management (UTM), and eVTOL developer Starling Inc. have entered a strategic partnership via a memorandum of understanding. The collaboration aims to merge Starling’s proprietary Pathfinder-X eVTOL aircraft and its automated docking station with High Lander’s Orion DFM operating system and Vega UTM platform. This integration creates a comprehensive, end-to-end solution designed to enable scalable and compliant complex beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) drone operations.

The combined package is targeted at mission-critical applications such as critical infrastructure inspection, public safety, and homeland security. While the companies will pursue global opportunities, a key focus will be the United States market. There, the partnership is expressly designed to empower both private and public organizations to execute long-range BVLOS missions at scale, ensuring full alignment with the Federal Aviation Administration’s evolving regulatory framework for advanced drone operations.
