Drone delivery company DEXA, also known as Drone Express, has achieved a major milestone by receiving a nationwide waiver from the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This approval allows the company’s drones to operate beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) without requiring separate authorizations for each individual flight.

This waiver builds on DEXA’s previous FAA approvals, including its Airworthiness Certification and Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate. Together, these clearances position DEXA as a leader in advancing drone delivery operations across the United States.

Beyond supporting its enterprise partners, DEXA is also developing a direct-to-consumer marketplace. Through this platform, customers will be able to order groceries, over-the-counter medications, pet supplies, and other essentials for rapid drone delivery, without having to provide a physical address.

In its announcement on July 14, DEXA emphasized its continued commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and community engagement as it expands operations. The nationwide BVLOS waiver is expected to accelerate the company’s growth and enable new applications in retail, food services, and time-sensitive logistics.
