Thales and Schiebel have demonstrated next-generation uncrewed air system capabilities during a live event featuring the first UK flight of the Schiebel S-300 uncrewed vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft.
The demonstration highlighted how autonomous technologies, advanced sensors and integrated mission systems can enhance operational flexibility for armed forces across land and maritime environments. The S-300 showcased the potential of uncrewed aviation platforms to support missions in complex operational conditions.
The event also highlighted technologies supporting the Royal Navy’s development of uncrewed aviation capabilities through programmes such as Peregrine, alongside the British Army’s Land Autonomous Collaborative Platform (Land ACP).
The collaboration reflects growing interest in integrating uncrewed aircraft with advanced sensing and autonomous systems to support future military operations across multiple domains.
