Northrop Grumman and Airbus Defence & Space have agreed on cooperation aimed at industry support for strengthening NATO’s Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Force (NISRF) Fleet with MQ-4C Triton systems.

NATO ISR refers to capabilities that support intelligence gathering, surveillance, situational awareness and decision-making across the Alliance. A Memorandum of Understanding of the collaboration between the two companies was signed during the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum.

Finnish technology company Insta is part of an international industry team supporting the deployment of advanced ISR capabilities, strengthening NATO’s surveillance capability and improving operational readiness.

The MQ-4C Triton is a high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aircraft system designed for surveillance missions and for providing situational awareness across wide operational areas.

As a command, control and situational awareness systems expert and systems integrator, Insta’s role on the industry team is to bring together technologies, systems and capabilities into effective operational solutions.
