Safran Electrical & Power and Aura Aero are strengthening their partnership to accelerate the development of the next generation of electric and hybrid-electric aircraft. This new milestone reinforces the industrial and technological roadmap of both companies while advancing their shared ambition: making low-carbon aviation take flight.
Through this partnership, the companies will:
- Support the serial production of INTEGRAL E, Aura Aero’s all-electric training aircraft, powered by Safran Electrical & Power’s ENGINeUS motor
- Extend collaboration to ERA, the 19-seat hybrid-electric regional aircraft, which will be equipped with eight ENGINeUS electric motors
- Prepare for the future by jointly developing propulsion architectures that will power the next generations of aircraft
Having supported Aura Aero since the early development phases of INTEGRAL E, Safran Electrical & Power is now contributing to the ramp-up of its programmes. This strengthened collaboration will help achieve the key milestones ahead: certification, industrialisation, and bringing solutions to market.
