ParaZero Secures Second Counter-UAS Order from Israeli Defence Entity

ParaZero Technologies has received an additional counter-UAS order from a second branch of an Israeli defence organisation for its DefendAir system. The new contract follows an earlier procurement and signals continued operational confidence in the company’s non-kinetic drone interception technology.

The DefendAir platform is designed to neutralise hostile unmanned aerial vehicles using a net-based capture mechanism rather than explosive or projectile force. This “soft-kill” approach enables safe interception of drones in sensitive environments where debris, collateral damage or secondary explosions must be avoided. The system is intended for use in urban areas, forward operating zones and the protection of strategic infrastructure.

The latest order includes specialised launchers configured for rapid deployment across various operational settings. DefendAir can be adapted for handheld use, fixed installations or integration with drone-mounted configurations, providing flexibility for both mobile units and perimeter defence roles. The procurement package also includes training and support to ensure proper system integration, maintenance and tactical operation.

ParaZero has reported strong interception performance during demonstrations and field evaluations, highlighting the system’s ability to counter agile threats such as first-person-view (FPV) drones as well as larger unmanned platforms. As small drones and loitering munitions continue to feature prominently in modern conflicts, demand for versatile and rapidly deployable counter-UAS systems has increased.

The follow-on order suggests expanding adoption of non-kinetic counter-drone solutions within Israeli defence structures. Rather than relying solely on jamming or kinetic interceptors, defence organisations are increasingly incorporating layered protection strategies that include capture-based technologies capable of operating safely in complex environments.

For ParaZero, the second order strengthens its position in the defence market and demonstrates repeat customer engagement — a key indicator of operational trust. As global drone proliferation accelerates, solutions like DefendAir are gaining attention for offering scalable, adaptable and lower-risk alternatives to traditional air defence measures.
